For our local Central Oregon residents in Bend, Redmond, Sunriver, and La Pine, we like to meet in places that make learning fun - coffee shops, bars, parks, or even your home or office.

Here at Gringo Language Academy, we believe that you are capable of acquiring the needed language skills to help move you from "fun" to "functional" to fluid use of the language, but the rate at which you do so will be very much up to you! 

Our job is to help guide you on your proficiency path, and we take that (though not ourselves) very seriously.

Our work at Gringo Language Academy focuses primarily on programming for adults and motivated teens.  

When it comes to working with younger children, we focus on giving you - the significant adults in their life - the tools you need to model and share the learning process with them.  Should you choose, part of your sessions can involve determining how best to bring what you are learning back into your home for them as well.  

We are excited to begin discussions with our students about where they would like to travel next!  We always try to plan trips that are fun, fair, and fascinating.  Options for classes, homestays, and organized adventures are always part of our plan, with plenty of personalization to make traveling with us something you will always remember fondly.

In the past, popular sites have included both Puebla and Oaxaca, Mexico, and there is already a Baja Getaway in the works for fall of 2025!
